The Princess Mary, daughter of Prince George, Duke of York (later George V), and The Duchess of York (later Queen Mary) married Henry Charles George, Viscount Lascelles, in Westminster Abbey on February 28 1922. Henry was the elder son of Henry Lascelles, 5th Earl of Harewood, and Lady Florence Bridgeman, daughter of Orlando Bridgeman, 3rd Earl of Bradford of Weston Park. The Princess was 24 and Lord Lascelles was 39.
