Edith González and businessman Lorenzo Lazo married on September 24, 2010 in a Catholic church in eighteenth-century Mexico City, where Mexican actress came as a princess, with a crown and everything.

The couple married on Friday September 24 in heavy rain, in the Church Nuestra Señora del Pilar "La Enseñanza" located in Donceles Street in downtown Mexico City. The temple, dating from the eighteenth century, was decorated with hundreds of white roses and special pew in gold covered with ivory fabric.

This wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale. The beautiful bride, who is the daughter of American business tycoons JR and Loren Ridinger, wore two J’Aton Couture gowns as she wed handsome R&B gospel singer McLaughlin; dressed immaculately in a Navy uniform belonging to his grandfather – the first black Navy Seal.

The opening J’Aton Couture was a unique, heavily embellished fishtail gown complete with a beautifully ornate veil; the second, an exquisitely cut sweetheart gown with sheer lace detailing.  Both gowns were beautifully accessorised with an elegant Asian-inspired diamond headpiece, created by Jacob & Co. NYC, and custom-made blue soled (yes, blue soled) Christian Louboutin shoes, similar to the “Cinderella slipper” recently created by the designer.
