Red Carpet Wedding began as a place to collect beautiful weddings and has gradually become something closer to an archive: part fashion notebook, part society pages, part unapologetic fascination with what happens when love, couture, history and a very large guest list collide.

What We Love

A wedding is never just a dress — although, admittedly, we are very interested in the dress.

We look at the designer, the setting, the family history, the jewellery, the traditions, the styling and all the small choices that turn a wedding into something memorable.

From a quiet civil ceremony in Monaco to a royal banquet filled with tiaras, from vintage society weddings to modern couture brides, the goal is simple: to document beautiful celebrations without pretending they all need to look the same.

Who’s Behind RCW?

Hi, I’m Alina.

I have been collecting, researching and writing about weddings, fashion and designers for far longer than would probably be considered reasonable.

I’m especially interested in the point where fashion meets history: old aristocratic families, royal wardrobes, couture craftsmanship, forgotten society weddings and the tiny details that somehow explain an entire era.

My taste tends toward elegant rather than sugary, interesting rather than perfect, and weddings that actually feel connected to the people getting married.

I also firmly believe that a spectacular dress deserves to be discussed properly.
