Prince Edward, Duke of Kent is the Queen's first cousin and a grandchild of King George V. He was born Edward George Nicholas Patrick Paul in 1935 and has held the title Duke of Kent since 1942. He is best known as president of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, presenting trophies to the Wimbledon winner and runner-up. The Duke of Kent married Katharine Worsley at York Minster. The couple have three children, none of whom carry out royal duties: George, Earl of St Andrews (1962), Lady Helen Taylor (1964) and Lord Nicholas Windsor (1970).
