José Antonio Canales married Mari Carmen Fernández on 24 of October 2004. The ceremony took place in the San Francisco de Cadiz church where the bride and groom wore joined by family and friends. The bulfighter, cousin of Francisco and Cayetano Rivera, was also joined by some of Spains most known matadors.
