Prince Christian of Schaumburg-Lippe has married Lena (born Giese), his father is a cousin of Queen Margrethe of Denmark, so she's been among the guest as well as Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe.

The announcement of Mathilde's engagement to the Belgian heir-apparent, Prince Philippe, who had never been seriously linked with any woman, came as a surprise to the country. Mathilde married Prince Philippe on 4 December 1999 in Brussels, civilly at the Brussels Town Hall and religiously at the Cathedral of Saint Michel and Saint Gudula. She was made Princess of Belgium on 8 November 1999 (published on 13 November 1999 and effective from 4 December 1999).

On June 4, they were married at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on the East Side, before a church packed with family members and political powerhouses (Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mr. Kelly sat on the bride’s side, and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Mr. Giuliani on the bridegroom’s) and a tittering clutch of Ms. Catsimatidis’s high school friends. “Can we talk about the fact that this is actually happening?” one of the young women, round-eyed, said to a friend.

Girls, Dylan Lauren (Ralph Lauren’s only daughter & owner of the delicious Dylan’s Candy Bar), who was recently wed to hedge funder Paul Arrouet last June in Bedford, New York. The stunning bride wore a handmade silk tulle and duchess satin gown with a mermaid silhouette — and an impressive 9-foot tiered train — designed by her own father (lucky!).
