The Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon, married Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby in 2001. Mette-Marit wore a minimalistic wedding dress designed by Ove Harder Finseth, inspired by Prince Haakon’s great grand-mother, Queen Maud. The diadem was a present from the royal couple, King Harald V and Queen Sonja.
